The ingredients that we will need for chocolate rice pudding recipe will come in sequence below.

2 bags of miracle rice
3 cups of milk, rice milk, and coconut milk, almond or flax milk will all work just as well. Please use the version that is enjoyed by you the most.
Let us get a ½ cup of sugar or 12 packets of stevia to sweeten the dessert without all of the excess calories.
1 Tablespoon of pure vanilla extract
We will need a ¼ of a cup of real cocoa powder for our chocolate lovers delight here.
1 teaspoon of butter
We will need somewhere between 4 to 5 Tablespoons of cornstarch to thicken the pudding.
1 egg is optional
1 cup of raisins is optional
If you are making this for your kids it may be fun to top it with a few chocolate chips for them.
A dash of salt is also optional

Gather all of the ingredients for the rice pudding and place them close to your stove so that you are able to reach them very easily. Now is time to get the saucepan heating up on the stove? So now let’s start heating the butter and the milk. Once we see it warming up we are going to add in the remainder of the ingredients one at a time. Be sure to leave the cornstarch for the end. Do not stop stirring the mixture because the milk has a tendency to burn real quickly. Once all of the ingredients are together and you have slowly placed in the cornstarch one Tablespoon at a time until you are happy with the thickness we will then put the mixture into a bowl or a baking dish. Make sure to lightly grease the bottom.

Last we are going to turn the oven on 350 degrees and we are going to bake this for fifteen to twenty minutes. I like the top of this dessert to be a real nice golden brown. Enjoy this chocolate rice pudding recipe. Please share your thoughts and comments with me. If you have a certain recipe that you would like me to bring to you please let me know by leaving me your thoughts below.

In order for us to fully understand the shirataki noodles nutritional facts we should decide whether we are talking the traditional form or the tofu one. We need to make sure that we are gathering the facts on the choice that we need. The biggest difference between the two forms are the traditional ones do not contain and wheat, soy or gluten. The other ones of course will have the tofu in them. I am going to go over the miracle noodle brand of this pasta here and its nutritional facts for you all. If you are looking for information on the tofu shirataki noodles I must apologize but I am not writing about them because I have not personally tried that formula. The reason that I have not been able to try them myself is because I do have sensitivity to all of those ingredients the wheat, soy and gluten. I have been eating the miracle noodles for a little over two years now so I can speak about them from my personal experiences.

As many of may have already heard this is a very healthy pasta alternative that does not contain any calories or those other ingredients that I stated above. The role that the konjac plant takes in creating the shirataki noodles is the fiber. We all need a fairly high amount of it in our diets on a daily basis. The very sad truth is that a large amount of us just are not even coming close to taking in the daily recommended amount of fiber that we need for our health. The miracle noodle makes their pasta in such a way that it is mostly soluble fiber. When we consume it the fiber goes in and begins to slow down our digestive system. When we introduce a food that is able to do this we in turn slow down the absorption of glucose. Now we are going to be able to see a longer sensation of fullness. Do you know what the end result of the usually is possibly some weight loss. It may be that we even absorb more nutrients during this process as well.

So here is the label right off the back of shirataki noodle pasta so you can see for yourself what is really in it.

“Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission.” All opinions remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.”

If you are shopping for shirataki noodles whole foods one is certainly sure to find them stocked upon the shelves inside. I first found them in my Whole Foods grocer about nine months ago. If you are a person that is pretty familiar with the layout of the grocery store then it will be easy for you to locate them. In my local store they have them stocked in the refrigerator section where the cold tofu items are also placed. They were on the bottom shelf and there were approximately three different brands to select from.

If you have any sort of food allergy please be sure to read each of the packages as some of them may contain soy or gluten. I always choose the miracle noodle brand because it is soy and gluten free. I have sensitivity to these ingredients so I am very careful in my shopping choices. I do know that this is a very popular food item but I have only found them sold out for a couple of days at a time. The store personnel are usually very helpful in advising when they may be in stock again. It may be a great idea for you to make a phone call to your local Whole Foods prior to making a special trip to insure that they do indeed carry them and that they are currently in stock.

If for some reason or another there is not a Whole Foods grocery store in your town then by all means the website is a secured site where you can have them delivered right to your home. It will only take a couple of days for them to arrive.

Here is a little tip that I would like to share with my readers to grab some savings. When shopping at my local Whole Foods if you buy items by the case they offered me a ten percent discount. So if buying your shirataki noodles in bulk is what you are looking to do then please consider the savings that may be seen when you check out at the register. To everyone’s health.
